About Us

Hi, my name is Steve Tiramani and I am the founder of Tiramani Nutrition & Well-Being. I am a registered associate nutritionist with the AfN and have a first class bachelors of science degree in health, nutrition and lifestyle.

I first gained an interest in nutrition and well-being in 2015, I suffered a back injury that meant I was suddenly a lot less active and I put on weight. I was around 4 stone (25.4kg) overweight, struggled to walk my dog and do the simplest of tasks without getting fatigued. This is when I started my own weight-loss journey.

I fell into many of the same traps that a lot of us do when we try to lose weight by trying fad diets, restrictive dieting, listening to poor and misleading advice online from influencers, knocking back protein shakes, taking “fat burning” pills, believing cardio was the best way to lose weight even though I hated it and many more.

By making these mistakes, weight loss felt impossible and motivation was at an all time low, I felt I had tried everything. However, I learnt from my mistakes over the years as well as furthering my knowledge and understanding by studying at university.

I lost weight by changing my eating habits, my diet, lifestyle habits and finding exercise that I found enjoyable rather than forcing myself to do exercise that I didn’t want to do. The importance of throwing out the diets and instead learning to listening to your bodies needs and finding ways to eat and live healthier as well as finding ways to increase my exercise in a way that fit around my life.

My goal now is to use my knowledge and experience to help guide and support others to achieve their weight loss goals. I want to help guide and coach people to prove to them that it is possible and you don’t have to restrict yourself and stop eating your favorite foods. It is all about balance,
